When you think of Mod Manager, what does the interface appear to be? The Sims 4 Mod Manager from Raxadiam is a beautifully simplistic Mod Manager that is easy to use with a few extras. Without further ado, here are the top three Mod managers.

In my research, I found that there are very few Mod Managers out there and that each one has its own look, sorting system, and operation. For those reasons, it is important to find the Mod Manager that works for what you specifically want it to do.

Some Mod Managers will even sort out screenshots for you and automatically unzip files for your CC and mods. Mod Managers have been created to assist players with organization, seeing what is broken, and more. That is when Mod Managers come into play. Within the Sims 4 community, there are many mods and custom content to download, some end up broken or do not have the correct mesh.

I had the Nraas Cupcake mod for the Bakery store set and a mod that overhauls the Old Mill Tea store set.The gaming world has always had modders and custom content creators. UPDATE: I FIXED IT!!! I read that if there are mods that correspond to store items that aren't in your game, it'll crash the game immediately. My game is also an ARRRRGGGG MATEY SHIVER ME TIMBERS copy in version 1.67 so this has nothing to do with the whole Origin/EA app stuff.Įdit: I've also tried playing the game without the documents folder to see if it had anything to do with the directory instead since I have the smooth patch and shader tweaks in there, but no go. An interesting thing to note also is that Nraas ErrorTrap/Overwatch (or whichever of their mods do this) doesn't warn me that there's a third-party program in my Bin file anymore, which happens during normal startup. Has this problem ever happened to anyone? Is there a solution?Īdditional info: I initially thought that the latest Smooth Patch update was causing this since this problem started ever since I installed the updated mod, but it apparently isn't. The game was working fine! Now this would be a satisfying solution to my problem but I refuse to play my game without my mods. Finally, I moved the resource.cfg file out of the mods folder and onto my desktop. I tried the half-and-half method on my packages folder, didn't work. I did a lot trial-and-error-ing and came to the conclusion it has something to do with the mods folder. So my game keeps crashing after I reinstalled it on my computer.
